They say the darndest things...

We were sitting around the dinner table yesterday after church and Hubby took the opportunity to praise B. Apparently, while the teacher was passing around a handout, he was the only kid to say 'thank you.' Anyway, B was happy that he was being praised and said, 'Yeah, I did it because I want some money.' Hubby & I both about choked on our lunch we were laughing so hard.

And on that note, enjoy your Monday!

A's Latest

A has recently started communicating on a 'deeper' level. Here's his interpretation of "What do you want, T?" He's also started to shout his needs and wants. It has definitely made Sacrament Meeting more interesting.

His other latest thing is that he HAS to be where B & T are. If he feels left out at all, you'll know it!! Talk about vocal. And we used to think he was so quiet and laid back.

What's New You Say?

I really can't believe that June is almost over and I haven't posted anything. So, without further adieu, here's what we've been up to lately:

B finally lost that first tooth. It hung on for over a week until he accidentally pulled it out. The new tooth was already coming in.

We reaped miniature food from our miniature garden. The corn cobs were bite-sized, but still good! (That's one on the counter.)
B graduated from Kindergarten and won several awards for physical & scholastic accomplishments. Needless to say, we're proud parents!
A has become mobile. He learned to sit up, army crawl, pull himself up, walk with help, crawl up stairs, crawl on his hands & knees, and walk along furniture all in the space of 2 months. I guess our little 'slug' was finally motivated. I started to watch a little girl that is the same age and since she came to our house, A's been catching up physically. Who knew all it took was a little cutie to get our little casanova motivated?
He's also cut a couple more teeth. If you look closely, you can see them on the top.
T got a hair cut. She's been begging me to cut her hair and finally, she got her way. Doesn't it just fit her personality? What a spunky little girl!

A started to eat real people food. Mmm Mmmm Good!

I also got my hair done. If I knew then what I know now, I'd have definitely NOT gone to that salon. It still makes me ill how much the color & cut cost. Ugh... At least I like it though, right?? You can't tell from the front, but it's an A-line and brownish-red w/caramel highlights. We filled our Living Room! No more empty rooms. :) Now my focus is on 'accents' or "girly-absolutely-not-necessary-stuff" as Hubby calls them.

Anyway, that's what we've been up to. Hope you enjoyed the pics.
