I can't help it. I know that Thanksgiving is just 2 days away, and although I'm VERY excited to make and eat all the pie... I'm even more excited to put up Christmas decorations this weekend. I've been occasionally listening to Christmas music and have been loving hanging out in the stores that are all decked out for the Holiday. Half of my Christmas shopping is already done and by Friday, all of it (hopefully) will be finished. I love Black Friday. Its like all my primal instincts come out and shopping becomes fun again. Hmmm... Maybe its the lack of sleep and extra dose of sugar from the hot chocolate specifically bought to keep me warm while I stand in line outside store at 4am?!
Today I thought it would be appropriate (because I am making PIES today) that I take a moment out of my Festive Frenzy to wish everyone a Happy Turkey day. May your buttons burst and your stomach expand from all that wonderful food!! Loves to all my friends and family especially! You are my joy. I love you and miss you.

I just LOVE Christmas, too!!! I've never been brave enough to get out on black Friday.
I am not a big Black Friday person, but this year I'll be standing at sears with a big stick in hard ready to fight till the death for that washer/dryer set.....so Black Friday, here I come!
Okay, I too am a Christmas PYSCHO! I would leave my decorations up until Valentine's Day if I could. And DON'T EVEN get me started about how awesome Christmas Carols are.
Ummmm... My Christmas tree got put up yesterday and I have been listening to Christmas music for weeks now... I am a dork I know! Happy thanksgiving to you too! We will sure miss you, oh and tell Matt there will be 7 pies at mom and dad's just in case he wants to come enjoy some.
Thanks Amber, Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Todd and I love Black Friday too. We have gone out every year for the last 7 years. But one sad thing about this Thanksgiving is my buttons won't burst because I am on a diabetic diet. This makes me sad since Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. But one thing I am thankful for is a friend like you.
