The F Bomb

So, A is becoming much more verbal as he nears his 2nd b-day. His latest word is yes, the F Bomb. I honestly don't know where he heard it (we're a little more G-rated around our house), but nevertheless, he's spouting it any chance he gets.

I got pretty concerned (in between giggling) about this and was trying to get him to say something else instead - all the while trying to figure out what he 'really' meant. Then, today while we were practicing body parts, I pointed to his feet and said, "A? What's this?" He then dropped the bomb and the whole world made sense.

Ahhhh, the joys of parenting.

Oh my gosh, it's great you figured it out instead of freaking. I kinda freaked at Jeremy a little bit when he was trying to say Butch(the dog's name from a cartoon). It did not come out right and yeah I didn't react right. Now he thinks that Butch is not a good word.

right... you have no idea where he picked it up! Yea, when Landon first started saying "see it" it didn't quite sound as it should. We thought it was hilarious to prompt him to say "oh, see it." repeatedly. Yes, the joys!

You might want to let him know he can only 'fake' innocence for son long. When he gets older and keeps referring to his feet as something else people might start to clue in. :)

That's hysterical! When my friend's sister was little she would say what sounded like SH$T. She was just telling us to SIT! Don't you love kids?

Wow. It starts early, huh? Too funny. When my little brother was a baby, he used to use the F-bomb when he was trying to say "Truck." We (the kids) of course tried to find as many truck-related things to talk about as possible at the time....

HAHAHAHA!!
I mean..*ahem*...Amber, I am truly disappointed at the potty language you must use around your children.

HAHAHA! Ok, nevermind, its just funny! Poor little dude is trying to say feet! He's KIND of close! ;)

Sorry for you! Thankfully our toddler can't really say his F's, so we've avoided that particular problem. We are currently dealing with the desire to call mom and dad by their first names...
